2015年8月7日及8日，诺丁汉孔子学院分别走进Beeston 少年宫和Hyson Green社区森林公园举办文化活动，吸引逾百人次前来参加，取得了良好的宣传效果。

8月7日上午，孔院教师叶李贝贝为少年宫的汉语早教班的父母和孩子带来一场基础太极工作坊，数十名当地家长和孩子参与了此次活动，此次工作坊从最基础的太极招式教起，让所有人都亲身体会到了太极的锻炼效果。工作坊结束后大家纷纷咨询更多的太极课程信息，并表示要到孔子学院来继续学习。

8月8日全天，孔子学院多名教师来到Hyson Green森林公园，在社区节日上为当地民众带来乒乓球体验，书法体验以及葫芦丝和太极表演等项目，前来咨询和体验乒乓球和书法的人们络绎不绝，而葫芦丝和太极表演更是引得群众驻足欣赏，获得阵阵掌声，大家对此次提供的中国文化活动表现出了极大的兴趣，并希望能够参加孔子学院下一次的文化活动。

诺丁汉孔子学院将继续致力于当地社区的语言文化推广，让更多人了解中国、喜爱中国，积极参与到孔子学院的各种活动中来。

NCI Provide Culture Activities to Beeston Youth Community Centre and Hyson Green Festival
On 7th and 8th of August, Nottingham Confucius Institute went to Beeston Youth Community Centre and Hyson Green Festival and provided the local people interesting culture workshops which attracted more than 200 people to join.
In the morning of 7th Aug. Beibei Yeli gave a basic Taiji lesson to parents and children in the Mandarin Early Year Education Group. The group people found it’s very interesting to practice Taiji and shows further interests to attend more Taiji lesson in NCI.
On 8th Aug, teachers of NCI went to Hyson Green and provide Pingpong, calligraphy, Hulusi and Taiji on the festival. Many people wait at the table of Pingpong and calligraphy to take part in. And the Hulusi and Taiji performances also got applause from the audiences. Some of the audiences consulted after the event about more NCI activities.
Nottingham Confucius Institute will go on providing Chinese culture activities to local people in order to promote Chinese language and culture. We hope more and more people are going to understand and like Chinese culture.
